CLAIMS & WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

This warranty applies to both residential and commercial projects, covering only the craftsmanship and installation quality provided directly by Creative Home Building Contracting L.L.C. (Hereby referred to as “The Company”).

It does not cover damage due to misuse, negligence, external factors, or product/material defects (see Annex A in your personalized Certificate and Warranty card for third-party warranties, e.g., appliances, automation, and supplier products).

All workmanship warranty coverage is valid for 365 days from the project completion and handover date, unless otherwise stated in writing.

1. Custom Joinery & Carpentry (Wardrobes, Cabinets, Shelves, Doors)

✔ Covered:
1.1 Alignment or warping due to installation oversight
1.2 Rusty or loose hinges, soft-close systems, and handle fixings
1.3 Delamination or peeling caused by workmanship issues

✘ Not Covered:
1.4 Water damage, overloading, slamming, or misuse by client
1.5 Scratches, dents, or broken doors caused post-handover
1.6 Modifications or re-drilling by third parties

2. Flooring & Tiling (Indoor & Outdoor)

✔ Covered:
2.1 Loose tiles, grout cracks, or uneven flooring due to improper fixing
2.2 Peeling or bubbling of vinyl/laminate caused by sub-base preparation error

✘ Not Covered:
2.3 Chipping, staining, or cracking due to dropped items or dragging furniture
2.4 Wear & tear, water ingress, or misuse (e.g., using unsuitable cleaning chemicals)

3. Painting & Finishing Works

✔ Covered:
3.1 Uneven texture, bubbling, or peeling caused by incorrect application
3.2 Premature discoloration from improper priming or sealing

✘ Not Covered:
3.3 Dirt marks, scratches, or dents from client activity
3.4 Humidity or mold caused by poor ventilation or leaks outside our scope

4. Electrical Installation (Lights, Switches, Wiring)

✔ Covered:
4.1 Loose terminals or unsafe connections installed by our team
4.2 Malfunctioning due to incorrect load handling or placement

✘ Not Covered:
4.3 Short circuits due to appliance misuse
4.4 Overloading sockets, tampering, or damage from external work

5. Plumbing Installation (Pipes, Sanitary Fixtures, Faucets)

✔ Covered:
5.1 Leaks from improper pipe jointing or sealant failure
5.2 Water pressure issues caused by poor installation

✘ Not Covered:
5.3 Clogs, blockages, or leaks caused by misuse (e.g., flushing foreign items)
5.4 Sealant deterioration from acidic or abrasive cleaning products

6. False Ceilings & Partitions (Gypsum, MDF, etc.)

✔ Covered:
6.1 Sagging, cracking, or joint separation due to poor installation
6.2 Flaking or paint bubbling from incorrect primer/sealer usage

✘ Not Covered:
6.3 Damage from ceiling-mounted equipment (fans, chandeliers, etc.)
6.4 Moisture stains from leaks in upper floors or roofs outside our scope

7. Doors & Windows (Internal Only)

✔ Covered:
7.1 Misaligned doors or windows due to poor fixing
7.2 Loose handles or noisy hinges due to improper installation

✘ Not Covered:
7.3 Damage from forceful closing, slamming, or kicking
7.4 Glass breakage, scratches, or frame warping from external exposure

8. Outdoor Structures (Pergolas, Decks, BBQ Units, Seating)

✔ Covered:
8.1 Poor joinery or unstable fixing causing movement
8.2 Surface leveling and drainage issues due to faulty base

✘ Not Covered:
8.3 Weather damage (sun, rain, dust, corrosion, mold)
8.4 Damage from moving furniture or installing add-ons

9. Swimming Pool & Water Features (If Applicable)

✔ Covered:
9.1 Installation faults such as misaligned tiles or uneven surfaces
9.2 Leaks from faulty pump connections or drainage works

✘ Not Covered:
9.3 Water discoloration due to chemical imbalance or poor maintenance
9.4 Equipment malfunction not related to installation

10. Waterproofing (Bathrooms, Wet Rooms, Balconies, etc.)

✔ Covered:
10.1 Water seepage due to membrane failure or installation error

✘ Not Covered:
10.2 Leaks from external sources such as broken roof pipes or upper-floor drains
10.3 Damage from drilling or tiling done after project handover

11. Landscaping (Soft scaping, Hardscaping, Lawn Installation, Planters)

✔ Covered:
11.1 Uneven or sinking paving/tiling due to faulty base preparation
11.2 Loose or unstable planter blocks, curbing, or edging
11.3 Drip irrigation system leakage or misalignment caused by poor installation

✘ Not Covered:
11.4 Plant health, survival, or wilting due to lack of maintenance, irrigation misuse, or seasonal factors
11.5 Damage caused by pets, pests, weather, or improper chemical use
11.6 Soil shifting due to poor drainage outside The Company’s installed areas
11.7 Growth issues related to plant selection, exposure, or sunlight availability

12. Commercial Projects (Restaurants, Offices, Retail & High-Use Areas)

✔ Covered:
12.1 Workmanship issues as outlined in sections 1–11, valid for 365 days.

✘ Not Covered / Limited Coverage:
12.2 Accelerated wear & tear from heavy foot traffic, furniture movement, or frequent use.
12.3 Damage caused by staff misuse, overloading, or non-standard operational practices.
12.4 Finishes, sealants, and paints subject to daily heavy cleaning (commercial detergents, pressure washing, etc.) that exceed normal residential wear.
12.5 Damages resulting from operational equipment (e.g., restaurant fryers, office machinery, or industrial-grade lighting/fittings).
