Job description:
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Gypsum Carpenter to join our team. If you have expertise in working with gypsum, installing partitions, ceilings, and other related carpentry tasks, we would love to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Install gypsum partitions, ceilings, bulkheads, and decorative elements.
- Measure, cut, and shape gypsum boards to match specified designs and dimensions.
- Apply finishing touches, including joint sealing and sanding.
- Perform painting works, including surface preparation, priming, and final coatings.
- Ensure smooth and high-quality paint finishes.
- Repair and maintain gypsum and painted surfaces as needed.
- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines.
- Work with metal framing, securing gypsum boards to support structures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Gypsum Carpenter.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in fit-out projects in Dubai.
- Experience with tools and materials used in gypsum carpentry
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
- Skilled in gypsum partition, ceiling installation, and finishing
- Physical stamina and ability to work in different conditions.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage time effectively.
Preferred:
- Previous experience in Dubai or the UAE.
- Basic knowledge of English.
