About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Estimator & Procurement Officer with proven experience in interior fit-out projects to join our team in Dubai. This dual role will be responsible for preparing accurate project cost estimates and quotations while also managing supplier sourcing, negotiations, and procurement to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. If you have strong technical knowledge, excellent negotiation skills, and experience in Dubai’s fit-out industry, this opportunity is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Estimation
- Prepare detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates for fit-out projects based on design drawings and specifications.
- Analyze project documents (drawings, specifications, scope of works) to determine accurate project requirements.
- Conduct value engineering exercises to optimize costs without compromising quality.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and consultants to finalize budgets and timelines.
- Maintain and update a cost database for materials, labor, and subcontractor rates.
Procurement
- Identify, evaluate, and prequalify suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Request, review, and negotiate quotations to secure best pricing and terms.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, contracts, and agreements.
- Track deliveries and ensure timely supply of materials and services to project sites.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai authority requirements (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, etc.) in sourcing and procurement.
- Build and maintain long-term supplier relationships to ensure reliability and competitiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ proven experience in fit-out estimation and procurement in Dubai.
- Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, finishes, joinery, and MEP elements.
- Proficiency in estimation software (Candy, PlanSwift, CostX, or similar) and MS Office (Excel in particular).
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Strong communication and coordination ability with consultants, clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Languages English (must), Hindi (must)
- Driving license (preferred)
